Jared P. Stauffer
Jared Stauffer is the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Brinkster (@brinkster) and Br.st (@brdotst). In early 1999 Mr. Stauffer conceived of Brinkster while in college completing his undergraduate work. He has since grown the company from inception to now hosting over 60,000 domains for more than 40,000 customers located in almost every country around the world. Mr. Stauffer provides the chief leadership, vision and direction for the company and directly oversees the marketing and finance departments.
Br.st is a web based Twitter client with advanced features like automatic link shortening, text shortening, inline viewing of images and video, advanced statistics, geo-tagging and easy sharing of images and files. Br.st was first launched as a URL shortener in August 2009, but then transformed like a butterfly into a Twitter client in November 2009.
Before starting Brinkster, Mr. Stauffer consulted for Intel, Lehman Bros. and startup companies assisting them in the development of their web technology assets.
Mr. Stauffer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Canyon University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with an emphasis in leadership, from the Ken Blanchard College of Business at GCU.
